Welcome to the Coyote Corner!

The column “Coyote Corner” first appeared as a sports-themed opinion piece in the 1969 editions of Dalton Junior College’s campus newspaper The Boulder. This older version provided the newspaper staff with a venue to examine and comment upon the fortunes of the Roadrunners—Dalton Junior College’s nationally ranked men’s basketball program—as well as larger issues in the world of sports. The column was a unique part of the history and culture of the College.  The Bandy Heritage Center’s new resurrected “Coyote Corner,” concentrates on the often overlooked aspects of the history of Dalton State College.
