"Thread by Thread: Northwest Georgia's Tufted Textile Heritage" will continue to be on display at the Bandy Center's Old Freight Depot Gallery until June 30, 2015. This exhibit traces the evolution of the tufted bedspread industry into the tufted carpet industry through the use of photographs from the Bandy Center's historic Carpet and Rug Institute photograph collection along with objects that illustrate the processes and products that transformed a homegrown industry into the economic powerhouse of Northwest Georgia.
