The Bandy Heritage Center's newest exhibit "Deadly Skies: Georgians and the U.S. Army Air Force in World War II" is currently on display at the Center's Old Freight Depot Gallery located at 305 Depot Street in Dalton, Georgia. The exhibit includes custom models, commendations, uniforms, one-of-a-kind personal artifacts, and never before seen wartime photographs to tell the story of the bravery, dedication, and sacrifice of Georgians who contributed to the success of the U.S. Army Air Forces in World War II. Of special note is the exhibit's inclusion of items belonging to Lieutenant Denver Truelove, the only Georgian to participate in the 1942 Doolittle Raid on Japan.

The exhibit will be on display through May 2016 and is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
