Bandy Heritage Center to host genealogy program

On Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in Room 205 of the James E. Brown Center on the campus of Dalton State College, the Bandy Heritage Center will host “Who Am I: Introduction to Genealogy, Part III,” with Dr. Dorothy Weathersby. In this third section of our genealogy seminar series, Dr. Weathersby will focus on the different federal census schedules that have been compiled since 1790. She will also include tips on finding the available schedules and interpreting the genealogical details they contain along with other methods and sources to use to find people who were not counted.
Dr. Weathersby is the Honorary Chapter Regent of the Robert Loughridge Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
