Bandy Heritage Center exhibit on display in Milledgeville, Georgia

The Bandy Heritage Center's traveling exhibit "Over Here and Over There: Georgia and Georgians in World War II" is now on display in Milledgeville, Georgia. This exhibt commemorates the contribution of Georgia and Georgians to the war effort in World War II. This interactive exhibit explores the daily lives of Georgians on the home front and battlefront during the Second World War. Text panels tracing the origins and course of the war along with the contributions of Georgia's citizens are on display at the Twin Lakes Library located at 151 S. Jefferson Street in Milledgeville. Interactive items including uniforms, non-firing reproduction weapons, webgear, medals, and documents highlighting the roles of Georgians at home, work, and play are arrayed at the Sibley-Cone Library on the campus of the Georgia Military College. The exhibit will be on display through November 4, 2016.
