Bandy Heritage Center conducts Hispanic Heritage Harvest

To increase the visibility and tell the story ot Northwest Georgia's Hispanic community, the Bandy Heritage Center, along with CLILA (Coalition Of Latin American Leaders), sponsored a Hispanic Heritage Harvest at Delray Farms Supermarket. The Center invited community members to donate photographs, documents, and objects reflecting their family's struggles and triumphs in becoming valuable assets to the region's dynamic Hispanic population. Items collected and added to the Center's archives ranged from oral histories, family and business photographs, descriptions of cultural events, and community outreach initiatives.
