Undergraduate internships with the Bandy Heritage Center form occupational experiences intended to dovetail with your formal scholarly work in the pursuit of your degree. Internships are currently unpaid, though we hope to begin offering paid internships in the near future. In the meantime, internships can be completed for academic credit. The internship program was created to collaborate with on-campus departments here at Dalton State, but we will consider students from other schools for for-credit internships in line with your school’s policies.

To participate in a Bandy Heritage Center internship, you must be:

1. 16 years of age or older
2. Enrolled in an academic degree program at Dalton State or another accredited college or university
3. In good academic standing
4. Interested in history and the professional practices of archives
